Greater Rochester Bicycling Map 2020 Update

February 07, 2020

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Greater Rochester Bicycling Map 2020 Update The Genesee Transportation Council (GTC) seeks proposals for consulting services from consultants with recognized expertise and demonstrated experience in website development and customization to develop an online cycling map for the Greater Rochester Area. This resource will highlight cycling facilities in the region, identifying opportunities for active commuting and recreation while providing detailed information about facilities to allow users of various abilities to remain physically active. In order to ensure that the map remains relevant and useful, this project will shift the focus of the map from the suitability of roadways for cycling to highlighting the expanding dedicated bicycle network while making the map accessible to those with mobile devices. A secondary objective of the work is to establish an up-to-date facility database that can be used to more easily maintain a spatial inventory of regional cycling facilities. Proposals are due Friday, March 6, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Robert Williams, Active Transportation Program Manager Genesee Transportation Council 50 West Main Street, Suite 8112 Rochester, New York 14614-1227 Tel: (585) 232-6240 E-mail: rwilliams@gtcmpo.org 11847192 02/07/20
